Pest Control Spraying

August 2025

Image and video of Pastor Joshua controlling crop pests by spraying a solution of wood ash, onion, and water on the maize and beans.

From Pastor Joshua: Thank you for your concern about us wearing facemasks when spraying, but here we were not using chemicals in the video that I just sent you of us spraying maize and beans. We are trying to use the knowledge of using the things around us like wood ash, onion and water for spray just like we were told from the training that sometimes can be used instead of chemicals for spraying crops because some chemicals kill even the insects and worms that help in the soil fertility and pollination.

From online sources:

Wood ash, onion, and water can be used as natural pest control and soil amendments for crops. Wood ash can deter pests like slugs, snails, and aphids. Wood ash provides potassium, calcium, and other trace minerals like phosphorus and magnesium. Onion brew can repel various insects like aphids, ants, armyworms, and borers such as caterpillars.

ANY amount of money you donate would be appreciated - greatly! We promise to use your money wisely!
